Bobby Saxon ready to win in November

My campaign released this press release earlier today.

Bobby Saxon ready to win in November

Athens, GA - Bobby Saxon, candidate for Congress in Georgia's 10th District, had the following to say about the Republican primary last night between his opponents, Barry Fleming and Paul Broun:

“I congratulate Dr. Broun for his victory in last night’s Republican primary. Dr. Broun worked hard in traveling the district to debate his opponent on the issues critical to our nation. I invite him to continue these debates as we move towards the general election."

"I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Barry Fleming for his hard fought campaign. Representative Fleming’s track record of public service is undeniable and worthy of respect. His service to his constituents and the state of Georgia has been honest and respectful, and for that I thank him.”

“As this campaign moves into the next phase I look forward to continuing to reach across the aisle in our district and moving our country ahead in a truly bipartisan way. There are dire problems in our country that cannot be fixed with old, partisan solutions. As your Congressman I will be a part of the solution to the gridlock in Washington and work toward fixing our energy crisis, improving our economy, bringing jobs to the 10th District, and ending our conflicts abroad in a responsible and honorable manner.”

Bobby Saxon is an Iraq War combat veteran and small business owner from Nicholson, Georgia. He is a Major in the Georgia Army National Guard and has served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Pentagon. Bobby attends Bethany United Methodist Church, is a member of the American Legion Post 56 in Jefferson, GA and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2872 in Athens, GA.
